D79 Instructional Vision 2022-2023
Our instructional vision is detailed in the image below; you can click here for a PDF version of the vision. Our goal is to see 21st Century reading, writing and discussion in every class, every day across our citywide district. We will accomplish this vision by building up our instructional core, which means that: Our teachers use the most effective instructional practices for reading, writing and discussion and implement SEAL (Social-Emotional-Academic-Learning) into their lessons Our students are fully engaged in the learning process Our teachers provide students with academically challenging content, developed by District 79
